But during the pandemic i lost too many bonds with people and i even blame myself partially. Tbh it sometimes is depressing when i think about it. Hey Kenny ! I discovered SimpleKen very recently (even though I've been following you for so long), and I've been waiting to finish watching/listening to all the long recordings of you talking so that I could ask you a question. So, here goes. I was someone who did not believe in relationships for a long time (maybe because of what I was taught at home, strict brown parents you see), but of late I find myself wishing I could be with someone whom I truly liked, but I think I'm also scared of getting into a relationship, because idk how things will turn out. Idk if this is because I have really high expectations or I'm just scared of relationships in general. Would love to know your thoughts on this. P.S: I had to really think a lot to come up with a question because you've already answered so many of them that I had xD. Thank you so much for doing this, wishing you all the happiness in life

Lately I have been reflecting on my life and thinking about what decisions I take affect people or situations around me. Also it led to me journaling about what my past decisions have affected me, my people and situations. That in turn left me analyzing more and more and go into a deep if-else thinking for my "past decisions". It was very stressful. But I did gather some information from it. What's your take on it? Hey Kenny i had just started to listen and watch to the long recording of u talking and all the chai time episodes i loved it so much that i watched all of the simple ken episodes in a week, so i think all of ur viewers are thinking the same as me and thanks a lot for being like a role - model for me (i'm 13) #SimpleKen i have 2 questions they are - 1. Like 2/3 years ago i used to be so excited for my birthday or for Christmas and things like that now it is like those things dont even give me pleasure/joy anymore and i just want to be alone all the time i know that it is me and not other people but what do i do to get some pleasure out of the things i do on a daily basis. 2. Is it always good to be positive or do u need a mix of both positivity and negatativity too for a good life ???

Hello Kenny, how are you? Hope you are doing awesome. I am a medical student. I wanna share here that I can make friends, but the problem is that I I am not able to continue thise friendships for too long. The connectivity gradually decreases. I feel that these transient friendships could also be because I am quite taciturn and not an extrovert. Eventually, these amenities die out. What is your take on such short lived friendships? Should I let go of them, or try out some other ways? Also, I really adore your #simpleken long recordings(podcasts!) and have watched almost all of them. #simpleken I have a huge problem with how irresponsible I am and I fail to correct it even if I try. I feel like it's starting to affect my life in a bad way. I think this behavior started in me after facing a bunch of failures in my career but I still pushed myself and am at a place where I wanted myself to be. But there is something in me from those experiences that is preventing me from doing my best. I always have trouble getting motivation to start something new( although I know I am good enough to do it). I end up procrastinating it so much, in a way avoiding new things as much as possible. I get anxious when I try to forcefully start, scared of failure. The answer to this may be just simply to push myself harder. But it is harder than I thought. Would love to hear what you may have to say on this. Btw, love your content

So my question stems from that, In your lived experiences what are the cope-ing mechanisms you employ to settle for a life you do not want for yourself? I know you cherish meaningful action and hardwork, yet the mundane and responsibilities you did not sign up for really brings down the life spirit, and I would rather exist in moments than work in a life I do not want for myself. Idk if any of this makes sense, but nevertheless I believe #simpleken is your best conversation so far, as thousands of us speak back to you and you give us that space, so love you for that.❤️

We are of different cultures and background so it was very hard to convince our families 🤞 He is working outside India basically he is a NRI, and I have worked pretty hard my entire lifetime for the job I am in after my MBA and it's a very decent job but since I have to relocate to a different country will have to leave my job here, which was a very tough decision for a girl like me and will have to find a job there where I know have a lot of opportunities for me.
